Hey. I've been out for a bit (as always) and some things have happened, like , my camera was stole, so I'll have to take pictures for the posts on my phone now, but it's ok, I got some decent photos, I think :) Now, here's this very pink outgoing letter to Kyla, enjoy ;)

Oi. Estive fora por um tempo (como sempre) e algumas coisas aconteceram como, minha câmera foi roubada então vou ter que tirar fotos para os posts no meu celular, mas tudo bem, até que  eu consegui umas fotos descentes eu acho :) 

Agora, aqui vai um envio muito rosa para Kayla, espero que goste :) 

 

Can somebody please tell me where do I get Adhesive paper? I really wanna do more of those "Hello" things ( wow what an explanation) I did but as stickers .

Alguém pode por favor me dizer onde eu posso encontrar papel adesivo?  Eu quero muito fazer mais desses negocinhos de "Hello" ( uau que explicação maravilhosa) mas em forma de adesivo.

Hey everyone, how is it going?

Today's guest is my blogger pal Gabi, she's been writing  letters for many years and runs a very nice letters exchange club on her blog, Clube das cartas :)

1-Talk a little about yourself .

    Fale um pouco mais mais sobre você.

 My name is Gabriela Dallagnol, I'm 29, I live in Florianópolis/SC, and I'm a desntist. I love the beach, travelling, read and the quiety of my house!

 Meu nome é Gabriela Dallagnol, tenho 29 anos, moro em Florianópolis/SC e sou dentista. Amo praia, viajar, ler e o sossego da minha casa!

2-When, and how you got into snail mail?

   Quando e como você começou a se interessar por correio tradicional?

I started exchanging letters in 1998 with my paternal grandfather. He always wrote letters to my mom,but she would never answer him back with another letter, but by the telephone. He didn't like it! Then I decided to write to him, and with time I started enjoying it alot, and get new addresses to send letters.

Comecei trocando cartas em 1998 com meu avô paterno. Ele sempre escrevia cartas para minha mãe, mas ela nunca respondia através de outra carta, e sim por telefone, e ele não gostava! Aí resolvi eu começar a escrever cartinhas pra ele, e com o tempo comecei a gostar muito, e pegar novos endereços para ter mais correspondentes. 

3- What do you enjoy the most about snail mail and what do you dislike the most?
   O que você mais gosta sobre correio tradicional e o que você menos gosta?

What I like about exchanging letters is get to know the person first by her interior self, what she really is, without the initial judgment that usually we have when we meet someone in person. What I dislike is to see many people that don't love it and understand what really exchange letters means, and they want to participate only to receive gifts and not to make a true friendship.

O que mais gosto sobre trocar cartas é conhecer primeiramente a pessoa pelo seu interior, o que ela realmente é, sem o julgamento inicial que geralmente temos ao conhecer alguém pessoalmente. O que eu menos gosto sobre trocar cartas é ver que muitas pessoas não amam isso e não entendem o real significado de trocar cartas, e querem participar simplesmente para receber mimos, presentes e não para concretizar uma amizade verdadeira. 

4- Would you change or improve something in your country’s postal service?

   Você mudaria ou melhoraria algo no serviço postal do seu país ?

Yes! If I could I would make the fees not go up more, every year it increases the prices to send a letter, and soon it will make people stop this habit 'cause it will become impossible to do.

Sim! Se eu pudesse faria com que as tarifas não subissem mais, pois cada ano aumenta o valor do envio das cartas, e daqui a pouco as pessoas terão que parar esse hábito por estar inviável para todos. 

5- Could you tell one of the most memorable or special things you received so far?

    Você poderia dizer uma das coisas mais memoraveis ou especiais que você já recebeu?

One of the most special things I received was a Deco tape that my sister created, and sent to some of my friends to decorate it and when completed, it was sent to me. It was a surprise deco, and I wasn't even expecting, 'cause my sister and those friends don't make part of this snail mail environment, the letter world :)

Uma das coisas mais especiais que recebi foi um Deco que minha irmã criou,e enviou para umas amigas minhas decorarem, e quando completo, foi enviado para mim. Foi um deco surpresa,e eu nem esperava, pois minha irmã e essas amigas não participam desse meio postal, o Mundo das Cartas :)

6 -Can you describe in one word the feeling of receiving mail?

    Você consegue descrever em uma palavra o sentimento de receber uma correspondência?

Euphoria! haha

EUFORIA! HAHAHAHA

  Today's Incoming comes from Dee in London. And I can see through her letter and how delicated all things are that Dee is such sweet girl :)
